For Dellshire Resort in Wisconsin Dells, our internal team helped establish the brand foundation for several outlets across the resort — from naming destinations like the pool, restaurant, and bar to developing messaging and logos for each space.

I joined the project to design a concept deck for the resort’s restaurant, Blade & Barrel, outlining the vision and guest experience for the space. The deck explores everything from menu design elements, typography, and imagery to atmosphere-driven details like lighting, music, staff attire, and other touches that help bring the restaurant’s identity to life.

Concept Deck: Option A
Option A offers a refined take on the tavern experience, blending fantasy-inspired storytelling with elevated materials and thoughtful design details. Leather textures, elegant typography, and subtle architectural references create a sense of craftsmanship and sophistication. The concept focuses on layering tactile elements across menus, glassware, and environmental graphics to create an immersive and elevated tavern atmosphere.
Concept Deck: Option B
Option B leans into the warm, rustic charm of a classic tavern, using natural wood textures, barrel references, and handcrafted details. Distressed wood, metal accents, and tactile serving elements help reinforce an authentic, welcoming environment. The result is a dining experience rooted in tradition, craftsmanship, and storytelling.
Once client provides feedback and selections an answer, the entirety of the deck will be fleshed out and developed. Establishing everything from menu design to music choices to enhance the customer experience at Blade and Barrel.
