From 2022-2024 I worked alongside the Cedar Grove Ministry team to produce compelling visuals
that aligned with the vision, message and brand standards. Below, you will see the various pieces
of work created during this time. All to

Equipped & Empowered: Logo Development, Slides & Collateral
Logo Development
THE ASK:
A visual identity was developed for the “Equipped & Empowered” women’s event, expressed through a cohesive logo, color palette, and supporting print collateral. The design balances the event’s bold, empowering title with a soft, feminine aesthetic to appeal to women of all ages attending the event.
Before developing the final collateral, several logo and visual direction options were presented to help bring the event’s brand to life across all materials. The Cedar Grove team requested a mark that felt strong and confident while still maintaining a feminine tone. The options above represent the initial concepts shared with the team.
After several revisions, Option B was selected and expanded into a complete event campaign, which is reflected in the collateral shown below.
brand standards
I created a brand guidelines presentation for the Cedar Grove Community Church staff to help maintain visual consistency across ministries. While the church already had an established logo, typography, and color palette, I expanded the system by designing logos for each ministry branch that connect back to the main Cedar Grove brand and draw inspiration from natural elements tied to the church’s name.
The presentation also serves as a Design 101 resource for staff, outlining basic guidelines for logo usage, typography, color, and common design mistakes. The goal was to provide a clear reference so that any internal materials created by staff still feel cohesive, polished, and aligned with the church’s brand.
website design
Created with Figma, developed by Joy Dombrow
Using Figma, I designed three homepage concepts that aligned with the church’s established brand standards. After gathering client feedback and identifying the preferred direction, I designed the remaining pages, maintaining consistent visual elements and branding throughout the site to ensure a cohesive user experience.
In addition to the design work, I photographed and edited approximately 80% of the imagery used across the site, helping create a more authentic and personalized visual presence.
Once the designs were finalized, they were delivered to the client’s development team, who built and coded the site based on the design files.
